ADAMS COUNTY MANOR is a state-of-the-art, skilled nursing facility located in
West Union, Ohio, specializing in Rehabilitation and Wound Care. We currently offer
10 private resident rooms and 32 semi-private rooms each with an adjoining bathroom.

Our facility is divided into four sections: Main Building, North Wing, South Wing and East Wing. The Main Building has been apart of Adams County since 1859 with its construction as the county home. Without disrupting its historical past, this section was renovated in 2006 becoming several private family lounges and administrative offices. We also at this time added the North and South wings that consist of private and semi-private residents’ rooms. In 2008, we completed our biggest addition with the East Wing, adding to the facility an in-home therapy room, our main dining area and additional residents’ rooms.

We feel these renovations are just a few examples of how committed we are at Adams County Manor in providing state-of-the-art care to our residents. And, in 2008, we received zero deficiencies on our Ohio Department of Health annual survey. A proud accomplishment for our entire staff.

Rehabilitation Services

OUR IN-HOUSE THERAPY TEAM is a vital part of the integrated care provided at
Adams County Manor to help you reach a level of independence. We offer a range of
services from helping you to get back on your feet to mastering the functional skills you use every day.

Physical therapist and licensed assistants, occupational therapist and speech therapist work with you, your family and physician to assess and develop a rehabilitation plan that is right for you. Once a regimen is in place, our team works with you two times a day, six days a week ensuring that you are reaching the milestones needed. And, if or when you are ready to return home, we asses your environment to determined if you will need any additional assistance. Our goal is always for you to achieve your personal best as quickly and safely as possible.
