Barclay Residence, a large ranch home situated on beautiful country acreage in Hambden Township, is a licensed facility. It provides an ideal home for senior citizens who are no longer capable of living alone, but do not need Nursing Home care.
My staff and I take pride in the personal one-on-one care that we provide for our residents. Our home offers spacious furnished or unfurnished private and semi-private rooms. We encourage residents to bring personal items to make Barclay their home.
Barclay Residence is an affordable alternative lifestyle that eliminates mortgage and utility payments, meal preparation, yard maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping responsibilities. Residents are welcome to do as they please and often journey out to the Senior Center on the Geauga Transit. Barclay has an Activities Director, Music Therapist, Hairdresser and Podiatrist who come regularly.

Barclay Residence is an affordable lifestyle for seniors who do not want a large institution and do not need a Nursing home. The large ranch house situated on 5 beautiful country acres in Hambden Township, 2 miles east of Chardon Square is home to 11 residents.
Barclay is a licensed facility with furnished or unfurnished private and companion suites. Residents are encouraged to personalize their room with their own furniture, personal belongings and photographs to make Barclay "their home".
The large windows not only brighten the house, but offer a picturesque view of the landscape. An old large maple tree offers shade to the patio, which is adorned with flower pots and bird feeders. Residents enjoy filling the bird feeders and taking care of the flowers.
Residents still lead their own lives and do as they please, and often journey to the Senior Center on the Geauga Transit. Personal one on one care with bathing, dressing and medications is provided by our caring compassionate staff. Each caregiver contributes in helping a resident enjoy a greater quality of life with dignity and gracious living. Barclay is a safe, secure and comfortable home that offers peace of mind to families of our residents.
