Donald Gray and his family were introduced to the field of long term care by his friends George and Charles Ohman. Their friendship grew into a partnership that has lasted for 36 years. They began their partnership at Briar Hill Healthcare Residence in Middlefield, Ohio and continued it with the acquisition of Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg, Ohio where Don and his son David currently operate.
Today, Blossom Hill Care Center is nestled in the midst of 25 acres of scenic Geauga County Countryside. Owned and managed by the same dedicated family, the facility provides a continuum of care that enables residents to enjoy quality living.
Princeton Place at Blossom Hill also includes an Independent Living. The Independlent Living home is furnished with a living room, dining room, kitchen and screened in porch.
Each resident has a private bedroom and bathroom to decorate as they wish. The monthly fee includes dietician-planned and prepared lunches and dinners, all utilities, full housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services.
Every person who comes to Blossom Hill has lived a full life, and we see each resident not as someone locked in a moment of time labeled “old,†but as a timeless person who has an extraordinary past and a promising future. We take the time to get to know each person’s past so that we can be trustworthy guides to a meaningful future.
We care for our residents’ spiritual well being through group devotions, Bible study, personal conversations, pastoral visits, and prayer.
We also care for our residents’ mental well being through a variety of activities that provide opportunity for musical entertainment, socialization, and self-expression. These include classes, crafts, games, storytelling, a creative writing club and other opportunities for meaningful and thoughtful activities.
