You've waited a long time for your retirement and now is the time to reward yourself with life enriching opportunities to enhance the second half of your life.
As part of your independent lifestyle at St. Mary of the Woods you can choose from a variety of clubs, activities and events. All of our programs are designed to enrich the quality of your life.
Our residents enjoy physical activities such as exercise classes and the walking club. We also offer intellectual and educational opportunities. The community provides many recreational activities too. Residents have taken a liking to games like bridge, pinochle, bingo, poker, Scrabble, Boggle and cribbage as well as golfing, bowling, horseshoes and ring toss.
With an onsite chapel and Mass offered, residents can enhance their spirituality daily and engage in Bible study groups, rosary and other reflective opportunities sponsored by our pastoral care department, if they are interested.
Our residents also enjoy taking breaks and kicking back with coffee chats, resident barbecues, afternoon matinees, scenic bus tours and other fun get-togethers. Scheduled transportation features surprise trips, outings to the museum, mall, farms and more.
At St. Mary of the Woods, we partner with our residents to create a program that represents their desires, goals and dreams. It’s not so much St. Mary of the Woods’ life-enrichment program, but rather, it’s the residents of St. Mary of the Woods’ life-enrichment program. Our life enrichment associates listen to the residents and cater to their desires and goals.
