Willow Brook Christian Village is nestled on a wooded 31-acre site less than a dozen miles north of I-270, the Columbus outerbelt, on the south side of Delaware, Ohio. It's an ideal setting for a senior community - convenient, accessible, and secure. Shopping centers are adjacent to the campus, and banks, grocery stores, restaurants, doctors' offices, and pharmacies are all close-by.
Delaware is a stable community, steeped in history and tradition. The area has many golf courses, two state parks, movie theaters, a picturesque downtown shopping district, and an impressive library that is well stocked with all forms of media. Delaware is home to Ohio Wesleyan University, a well-established liberal arts school, which provides excellent opportunities for education, live theater, lectures, and concerts.
Delaware doesn't have a big city's congestion, yet metropolitan Columbus, with a population of a million and a half people and amenities to match, is only minutes away.
Willow Brook Christian Village is a continuing care retirement community that offers twin-single homes and apartments for those able to come and go as they please, and every other level of care from assisted living to skilled nursing and rehabilitation, Alzheimer's care, and even adult day care. One of the features most valued by our residents is that anyone who lives at Willow Brook automatically has priority admittance to any other facility or any other level of care at any Willow Brook location, subject to availability, of course.

Willow Brook Christian Village

Willow Brook at Delaware Run
Construction is under way for a second retirement and healthcare community on Rt. 36 West in Delaware, Ohio, called Willow Brook at Delaware Run. Delaware Crossing, the private road that winds its way from the entrance at William Street around and through the village, is the site of 52 independent living, twin-single homes. Many are silhouetted against a lush, green backdrop of trees. Some are perched on the edge of a hill overlooking Delaware Run; others have views of the lake or pond. Soon an apartment building, with patios or terraces in every home, will rise from the shores of our natural pond, and a healthcare center similar to the one at Willow Brook Christian Village across town is also being planned.
No matter where your home is situated, the view is lovely, and all the homes are designed to complement your active and independent lifestyle. Your twin or your apartment is your home. You furnish it, you decorate it, and you make it yours with the possesions you have treasured over your lifetime.
Many floor plans are available at both The Village and Delaware Run, some with basements, some without. They provide many options and features, including number of bedrooms and baths, a full-size kitchen and laundry, one or two car attached garages, an open yard with a private patio or deck, and 24-hour emergency call features. Each campus has a village square or commons area within easy walking or biking distance, and its many features are available to all Village residents.
